House number installation

There are two possibilities for attachment, one of which must be stated in your order:

1. Gluing, without drilling
2. Gluing in, with drilling

Gluing without drilling has the advantage that you don't have to damage the material to which the plates are being attached and that the plate may be removed afterwards/or be replaced without leaving any damage. To glue without drilling the surface upon which the number(s) must be put, need to be horizontal or in case the plate needs to be vertically placed (e.g. wall installation) you must be able to clench the plate for as long the glue needs to dry and cure.

Installation guide to glue the number(s), without drilling:

In case you've opted in your order for this method, the necessary spacers (gauge 3mm and diam. 15 mm) will be delivered along with your number(s).

   - Put the number(s) upside down on the table, preferably on a soft cloth or cardboard.
   - Stick these spacers on the back of the number(s) by using installation glue* (fig 1).
   - Let the spacers dry and cure for at least 10 hours.
   - Make sure the surface upon which you are going to place the plate is greaseproof and dustproof.
   - Put a small amount of installation glue on the spacers you just glued in.
   - Place the plate on the target surface.
   - Correct the plate if necessary to make sure it's in perfect alignment.
   - Let it dry for about 10 hours.
   - Clean the plate with soapsuds to remove all the excess impurities.

Installation guide to glue the number(s), with drilling:

In case you have opted in your order for this method, all necessary stainless steel attachment materials will be delivered along with your number(s).

Measure the distance between the threading rods in the back of the number(s) and write it down on a piece of paper.

   - Draw the holes on the wall where the number(s) need to be.
   - Drill the holes with a (stone) drill Ø6 mm deep enough (about 6 cm).
   - Screw the threaded rods (fig 3) in the threaded sleeves (fig 2) on the back of the number.
   - Vacuum the drilled holes or blow it clean with a straw (be careful for the eyes).
   - Spray a bit of installation glue in the drilled holes in the wall.
   - Push the threaded rods with the number(s) (fig 4) in the holes till the end of the threaded rods.
   - The number(s) should be placed 10 mm above the installation surface(the length of the threaded sleeves).
   - Check with the level whether the number(s) hang(s) horizontally and vertically correct.
   - Let it dry for about 10 hours.
     -  Clean the number(s) with soapsuds to remove all the excess impurities.
